And when iam trying to connect to the server in IPAD using Connect button iam able to see "SAP Analytics Gallery" where i see some more sample reports..How to disable that option so that endusers doesnt  view the sample reports in "SAP Analytics Gallery"

1. MOBI client version: 4.4.12,Build 8 (205506)

2. BOE Version: 14.0.5 and Build Number-915

Issue with SBO explorer in iPad connection to BOBJ system.

Hi Colleagues,

     My team has got an iPad and they want to me to show Bobj explorer infoviews in iPad. Previously we used to connect to Bobj explorer through this link:
http://vmwxxxx:xxxx/explorer and enter username & password, there we had a connection to hana system, in which we used to build infoviews on the analytical views visible with that connection. Now my team wants to view these infoviews in iPad. How do i start with this?

What i've done so far is:

1. Install SAP Afaria on iPad.
2. Install SAP SBO explorer from apple store in iPad.

3. Enter Bobj explorer server details in that application for the connection.

But now i get the error saying, it 'cannot find the server'. I'm using the SAP Internet connection. Previously i tried with SAP Corporate connection but there i was getting error saying 'no internet access'.  So what more is required to configure the connection? Am i missing some steps? Kindly help.

Thanks,

Deepak

HI all,

I have a small question we have created the Device owner as employee respnsible for the accounts in CRM, and that does go to mobile. however we have some accounts for which he is sales rep2  and not employee responsible but those accounts are not getting transferred to Mobile but exist in

Transaction SDOE_WB. MAS_CRMSALES -> Data Object Category -> Standard -> Data Objects -> MAS_PARTNER -> Node Structure -> ET_BUPA_RELTYP

Select Table -> Select Contents (CTRL+Shift+F10)

if we want to transfer employee responsible and also another relationship such as sales rep2 . How can we set it up on the CRM so thats its visible on the Iphone for the device owner.

Thanks to all for your help!

Cheers

SUP - Why invoke synchronize() method before setting synchronization parameter???

$

I tried to set the synchronization parameter to delimit the data to be transferred before invoke XXXXXDB.synchronize(). But i obtain an error:

"Error com.sybase.persistence.SynchronizeRequiredException: Illegal key generator status: the key generator must be populated first. "

My SUP version in 2.1.2

I have a lot of data to be transferred and the first synchronize takes too long. I don't know how to fix it, any ideas?

Nicola.

Hallo,

Trying to use a standard MDM web service

Hi,

I am trying to use a standard MDM web service in SUP environment, having many many fields as input parameter.

webSer.png

Now, in this input parameter we need to only pass the customer and destinationName as input and skip the rest of the fields.

When i am trying to use this web service in SUP 2.1.2 and then try to preview it, it results me with NULL values and a warning.

Preview

Result

So, is there any way i can skip/delete the other the NULL value fields, so i can get the expected result.

if any one have idea of how to doing this , please share ..

Thanks a lot ...

Hi

i have created three categories as

#default

default.corporateCategory=Mobile,DASHBOARD,WEBI

default.personalCategory=Mobile,DASHBOARD,WEBI

#ipad

ipad.pagemode=true

ipad.corporateCategory=Mobile,DASHBOARD,WEBI

But i can see all the WEBI and dashboard file as whole in IPAD.

I want to see as sub folders and the files assigned under that category in IPAD

any solution?

SUP: application registration error on iPad

$

Hi,

we have a problem with the syncronistation to SUP 2.1 #3 from a iOS-Device (iPad)

In the SUP ControlCenter I can see that my manual on-boarded(registered) user is connected to the SUP and have the state "online".

When I call "registerApplication" the app didn't register to the sup and the CallbackHandler throw the error "[ERROR] [SUPApplication.m:899] application registration taking longer than 60".

Can we see in any log-File whats happened during the registerAplication and why it didn't register the app? We couldn't find any information about that in the server-log or in the domain-log.

In the past we could register successfully to sup with the same code which you can see here:

@implementation SUPConnectionController

staticSUPConnectionController *appConnectionController;

+(void)beginApplicationSetup {

    if (!appConnectionController) {

        appConnectionController = [[[SUPConnectionControlleralloc] init] retain];

        appConnectionController.callbackHandler = [[SUPCallbackHandlergetInstance]retain];

    }

    //nur wenn wir wirklich diconnected sind verbinden wir uns sonst sind wir in irgend einer Art verbunden

    if ([SUPApplicationconnectionStatus] == SUPConnectionStatus_DISCONNECTED) {

        //start setting up the conection

        [appConnectionControllersetupApplicationConnection];

    }

    else {

        PRPLog(@"App ist schon verbunden mit SUP");

    }

}

-(void)setupApplicationConnection {

    SUPApplication *app = [SUPApplicationgetInstance];

    //setzen der AppID

    [app setApplicationIdentifier:@"SM4R_BF"];

    //calbackHandler setzen

    [app setApplicationCallback:self.callbackHandler];

    SUPConnectionProperties* properties = [app connectionProperties];

    [properties setServerName:@"SDRAFARIA"];

    [properties setPortNumber:5001];

    [properties setUrlSuffix:@""];

    [properties setFarmId:0];

    [properties setNetworkProtocol:@"http"];

    SUPLoginCredentials *loginCred = [SUPLoginCredentialsgetInstance];

    [loginCred setUsername:@"manuelErstellterUser"];

    [loginCred setPassword:nil];

    [properties setLoginCredentials:loginCred];

    [properties setActivationCode:@"manuelErstellterUserPasswort"];

    if (![SM4R_BFSM4R_BFDBdatabaseExists]) {

        [SM4R_BFSM4R_BFDBcreateDatabase];

    }

    SUPConnectionProfile *cp = [SM4R_BFSM4R_BFDBgetSynchronizationProfile];

    [cp setNetworkProtocol:@"http"];

    [cp setPortNumber:2480];

    [cp setServerName:@"SERVERNAMEXX"];

    [cp setDomainName:@"default"];

    [cp setUser:@"supAdmin"];

    [cp setPassword:@"supAdminPasswort"];

    [cp setAsyncReplay:YES];

    [cp enableTrace:YES];

    [cp setClientId:@"0"];

    [SM4R_BFSM4R_BFDBregisterCallbackHandler:self.callbackHandler];

    [SM4R_BFSM4R_BFDBsetApplication:app];

    if ([app registrationStatus] == SUPRegistrationStatus_REGISTERED) {

        //reconnection

        [app startConnection:60];

    }

    else {

        //first time connection

        [app registerApplication:60];

    }

}

-(void) startConnection{

    [SUPConnectionControllerbeginApplicationSetup];

}

Here are the last debugmessages from the device during the registerAplication:

Please advise if there is a best practice guide for providing secure connection to SAP through Black Berry Applications. We have implemented SSO and our users will have their SAP ECC passwords deactivated.  Please advise on best practice to implement connection to the BB device for user authentication.

HI,

we're developing a HWC with custom listview by coding in custom.js.

We discover that if we add another item to the listview, we're unable to scroll to very bottom of the listview and this only happen to iOS devices, we tested on android devices, the listview is working fine.

Any idea on this?

Thanks.

Warm Regards,

pricing in quotation on crm sales 2.1

We are implementing the crm sales 2.1 now,

we have a bussiness requirement, when the sales creat a quotation on the mobile, they need to enter a price and a devlivery date into each item of the quotation,

but i noticed that

The seamless synchronization enables SAP CRM Sales 2.1.0 mobile application to leverage the same backend pricing conditions, without having to create a new pricing setup for mobile app.

can we maintenance a price rebate and a devlivery date on each item of quotation on mobile? How to realize our bussiness requirement?

and when the crm sales 2.5 will be relase to customer, when we can get some technical documents to prepare the implention of crm sales 2.5

Hallo,

we are create a native iOS-App with SUP2.1#3. The syncronisation (replication based) with the SUP works but sometimes it happens that the Callbackhandler give us the message SYNC_STATE_RECEIVING_UPLOAD_ACK back and that fore a time of 2 minutes. You can see the log here:

It happens not every time we sync with the SUP. Sometimes the sync is very fast (20 sec) and sometime it needs 2 minutes because of the SYNC_STATE_RECEIVING_UPLOAD_ACK.

What happens in the SUP while the SYNC_STATE_RECEIVING_UPLOAD_ACK?

Did we something wrong in our synchronization implementation?

Thanks,

André

Hi everyone!

We successfully working with SAP HR Approvals on iOS, but Android giving us application error.

When we trying to approve the request (connection to SAP system is ok) we getting an application error. Logs in SAP and SUP do not reflect this issue. It seems like it's application error. Screenshot attached. Also SAP Leave Request application works fine on Android.

We tryed with Android OS 2.3.5 and 4.1

We using:

-SUP 2.1.3

-SAP Gateway 2.0

We would be glad of any useful information.

Thanks in advance.

Dmitry.
