As a company trying to deliver Fiori-Like Applications to our customers we are currently stuck at the following question:

 

How do we ensure that the Semantic Objects we create (which link to our UI5 Applications and are part of the Launchpad Catalogs we wish to deliver) do not intrude on SAP or Customer Semantic Objects we did not know of?

 

In other words - is there some way to deliver these Semantic Objects only within our Namespace?

Dear Experts

I am looking to extend/customize the out of the box PO Approval Fiori App. The App is currently configured and running fine in our DEV system, I need to customize few things in the app.

 

How do I get started in customizing this app? How can I test the application locally instead of uploading it to the GW server multiple times?

 

What is the tool suggested to customize an App, Eclipse with Fiori Tookil OR AppBuilder OR RDE ???

Hi;

 

I am working on SAP Work Manager 6.0 customising using Agentry 6.1.3. I have a collection that I am looping over for editing (I am using an edit transaction screen for editing), but there is a couple of things that I noticed, as I was editing each collection item through the loop:

 

1. The editing loop does not start editing from the selected item collection, it always starts from the first item/row on the tile list

2. After editing all the collection items within a parent object, lets suppose I have 8 collection items on the tile list displaying, when I click on the 4th item, the edit transaction screen that opens, always opens/displays the first item on the tile list, irregardless of which one I select/click, the first item/row is always displayed.

 

Is this standard Agentry behaviour or there is a step that I am missing?

 

Please advise?!

Hi experts ,

 

In our company we have SAP FIORI installed  successfully with two applicacitons (Approve Purcharse Order , Approve Purcharse Requisition).

Please I need is to upgrade to SAP FIORI UX and install new APP's (Wave 2) .

 

When I install it the APP Approve Contracts I get an error from SAP SAINT .

 

 

What would be the steps for upgrade to SAP FIORI UX with  APP's Wave 2 ?

What would be the requirements of the SAP system to this new version?

Is it mandatory to implement s-note 2035014 to implement Fiori - Approve Purchase Order Application . This particular snote fails repeatedly in our system.

 

The system details are :

 

ERP 6 EHP 6 with basis 7.31

NWG- SP08 on embedded deployment

While downloading the PO approval app from /UI5/UI5_REPOSITORY_LOAD i am not able to download index,main and maindetails view and the resource folder is also empty.

 

is there any another way to download or help out to replace this file.

Dear all,

 

We're able to execute Fiori transaction apps on http and https.

Fiori launchpad also work on http and https.

Fiori UI Theme Designer also work perfectly on http ...

 

But if we open on https, we found 500 Internal Server Error after input user ID and Password ...

https://xxxxxxxxxx/sap/bc/theming/theme-designer?sap-client=080&sap-language=EN

 

I tried to search on forum and found some of help i.e :

Masa mention that Theme Designer and Apps should be on same protocol.

But how to switch from http to https?

Hi All,

 

We are implementing the SAP Work Manager 6.0 for one of our clients.The device on which the application to be deployed is Windows Screen Size

(1024 * 768 ).The server is up and running and when I try to test the application on ATE by selecting the platform  Windows 1024*768,The application is not looking as it is expected to be.

 

From my investigation I found that the SAP Work Manager 6.0 has no platforms and screens for Windows 1024*768.

I could see platforms as Ipads, Iphones for most of the screensets and PPC for some of the screensets.

So to deploy SAP Work Manager 6.0, do I need to create all the screen sets for Windows and Android Devices?

 

One solution which I could find was that I added platform as Windows 1024*768 and added the same Ipad screen and it was working fine for some of the screens .

 

 

Please help me find a solution .

HI all,

 

is fiori app is a real mobile app, or is it purely application that works on mobile browser.

we have installed sap fiori client from google playstore. configured sap fiori client with fiori launchpad url, so we are able to access the fiori app.

 

 

if we want to develop fiori mobile app to work like news app, for e.g. a notifications should be received to the mobile user, even without mobile user explicitly opening the sap fiori client app. e.g. incase of news app, when the mobile user gets notification, then clicks on the notification, this opens the news app.

 

can we achieve/develop sap fiori app, which can send the notifications to mobile users.

 

our customer wants notifications like "Your leave request approved" to their employees on their mobile, as soon as the leave is approved by manager.

currently our customer can see only when they manually launch fiori launchpad from their mobile.

Hi,

 

I have a question regarding the navigational arrows in Syclo application.

I am working on Syclo Smart Service Manager 3.0 application with agentry version 6.0.32.

 

We are using Lenovo A3000 (android version 4.2.2) tablet which has agentry client version 6.0.40.1 installed in it.

 

When we go to the details screen of a service order we see an option as "Swipe to navigate" but swiping doesnt actually work.

Rather two navigational arrows are present on the top bar from where we can navigate between different service orders.

 

We have also tried to uncheck the navigation arrow in application settings but that did not work.

 

 

How can we remove the navigation arrows and enable the swipe to navigate functionality in the application.

Hi,

 

I have used the std. class /UI2/CL_SRA_LOGIN for Fiori launchpad log in screen. When there is no user action for long time and the session cookie gets expired; any operation performed(like selecting an app) in this case is bringing a browser basic authentication popup.

How to avoid this by either taking the user to initial login screen instead of the authentication popup ?

I'm trying to set the initial value of a complex table drop down that nothing is filled. This works if there are more than one values in the complex table. But if there is only one entry in the complex table, the Agentry client just takes the one value from the table and prefills the field. Our aim is to keep this field without any value because the technician can also go forward without using this field. Therefore he/she has now always select the specialfield value -NONE- which leads to an empty field. I tried already things like initial value on the transaction and the specialvalue field.

 

Has anyone an idea how I can disable that this field prefills the field with the CT value?

Hello all,

   I am trying to wrap my SAP UI 5 app with cordova to build an android app. My UI5 app is working fine when not wrapped with cordova. I have configured cordova successfully and I am able to see the cordova start screen in android. But I am unable to see UI5 controls in my android device. I am constantly getting an error in the logcat of eclipse (android configured). the error snapshot and my directory structure is attached. appreciate your positive response.

hi Gurus,

 

I tried to use the rule editor to generate a string "{ .... }".

An illustrative example is shown below. However, it seems that the "{" causes some trouble here. The generated string is always "{}"

 

 

If the first sub-string is "{example", then the generated string is "{example}. It looks like if the sub-string contains "{", the concatenation stops right there and with an auto-filled "}".

 

If I replace the "{" and "}" with "[" and "]", the generated string is fine. Note that "{" is not considered as a special string in the string related function.

 

Is it a known bug? Otherwise, how can I generated a string with "{" and "}"?

 

The Agentry version is 6.0.44.

As per the document I have tried to find the BADI's for corresponding data provider and model provider class but I could not get those badis..I found one entity in that is cusomtfields entity in model provider class:CL_GRC_ACREQ_CRE_MPC..is custfields providing any special fetaure to add new fields..

 

How to add the custom fields for SAP GRC Fiori Apps ...

 

GRC service name : GRC_ACCESSREQUEST_CREATE

I have tried one more way in that I got project name: GRC_ACCESSREQUEST_CREATE in GRC system segw..Can I go with redefinition of this project or else is there any other way to add new fields in GRC fiori app

Hi

 

I see in the agentry server, WorkOrderEditBapi source,

 

tbl.appendRow();

tbl.setRow(0);

 

and then starting to set vaues. appendrow will add the row at the end.

setrow for move the pointer to that row.

why in this code after appending , move the pointer to beginning  and start to set the values there.it will overrites the values right?

i don't get the point..help needed..

i am working on Fiori Approve Request App & getting below  Error on Launchpad.

 

Check the URL parameters and the scenario definition. To check the scenario definition, go to customizing for SAP NetWeaver Gateway and choose SAP NetWeaver -> Gateway Service Enablement -> Content -> Task Gateway Service -> Scenario Definition.

Hi Experts

 

Trying to make this app work. I get the error ailed to resolve navigation target: #EmployeeExpenseReport-create - Could not resolve link 'EmployeeExpenseReport-create' sap.ushell.renderers.fiori2.Shell.controller

 

I added EmployeeExpenseReport to /UI2/V_SEMOBJ because it wasnt there.

 

Semantic config was default in role and attached

 

UITRV001 installed on GW

 

Backend on EHP 7 SPS 05

 

Documentation states activate UI_TRV_TRAVEL_EXPENSE_CREATE - but it isnt there.

 

LPD_cust is attached and has not been modified

 

PAOC_TRV_SRV activated

 

Please advice
