Afaria 7 SP4 Access control for E-Mail (ISAPI) pipe Log

Hello community,

I have installed afaria 7 SP4. Now i wanted to install the isapi filter on the Exchange server (I used the ISAP c64 folder from the Afaria 7 SP4 folder).

Everything is working fine, also the Isapi filter works without problem.

But in C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Roaming\XSISAPI there is no pipe Log, like in SP3 of Afaria.

I found the following guide in the release notes of the hotfix 18 for Afaria 7 SP3:

ISAPI Logging Options

WARNING: Enabling ISAPI logging significantly impacts system performance and consumes disk space as the log file increases in size. Consequently, as the system's disk space is depleted, the system could be negatively affected and/or stop functioning.

To enable ISAPI logging, create the following registry key value.

Name: logInfo
Path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Afaria\Afaria\ISAPI\
Type: DWORD
Value: 1

NOTES:
The ISAPI log will include a message indicating "Pipe server new thread started" each time a new thread is initiated. The default value is 10 threads. Therefore, it is expected to see up to 10 instances of this message.
It is not required to restart the XSISAPI service to enable logging.
To disable ISAPI logging, remove the registry key value or set to "0".

I tried this, but there is no logfile created like decribed in the guide, I also recognized no other changes in the log direction. Has anybody else that problem?

Or, has anybody a solution for that?

Thank you and best regards

Michael
