Hi there,
I have a problem with Afaria. Whenever I'm helping out one of our users with his/her company phone (Galaxy S3 Mini), I always check some stuff, see if it still connects properly to our MobiDM environment and that sort of stuff.
But every time that I start the Afaria client, the screen goes black, the Teamviewer session looks like it has stopped working. When I ask the user what the phone is displaying at that moment, he/she just sees the Afaria client properly started up. If I press the Home-button from within Teamviewer the Home screen is being displayed like it should and the session seems to work like normal, untill I start the Afaria client again.
I've been able to reproduce this issue on all our company phone's (S3 Mini's, 24 of them). Completely reinstalling the phone and the MobiDM/Afaria software does not seem to do anything, same issue. The problem seems to be with the Afaria client.
Any solutions to this? This is extremely annoying since I now have to talk our users (some of them are complete dinosaurs) through part of the installation proces, actually giving them the password required to link up with the Afaria server. Not only is this annoying, its a security risk. I don't want any of our users to know anything about how Afaria and MobiDM works. Now, I have to.
Thanks in advance for you're answer
p.s. I have no idea if I checked the correct category's, my question is about Afaria, so this category I checked came the closest
